R-PI EGL Tests

Prerequisites
  • RPI 3
  • Linux raspberrypi 4.19.75-v7+ #1270 SMP Tue Sep 24 18:45:11 BST 2019 armv7l GNU/Linux
  • Raspbian GNU/Linux 10
  • sudo apt-get install xcompmgr libgl1-mesa-dri (I dont know if you need this!!!)
Then

Code: Select all

sudo raspi-config
  • Advanced options -> GL Driver -> [ G1 LEGACY] -> The GL Driver is disabled
  • Advanced options -> Memory Split -> [128] [OK]
Save and Finish -> reboot

Code: Select all

cd /opt/vc/src/
sudo chown -R $USER:$USER ./hello_pi
cd ./hello_pi
make
then under each hello_folder there is a bin file

./hello_videocube/hello_videocube.bin

marius@raspberrypi:~ $ cd /opt/vc/src/hello_pi/
marius@raspberrypi:/opt/vc/src/hello_pi $ hello_videocube/hello_videocube.bin 
Note: ensure you have sufficient gpu_mem configured
